Biography

Breana Laden was born and raised in Lepanto, Arkansas. After graduating with her BA in Studio Art at Arkansas State University, she has become best known for her commissioned mural work in the Northeast Arkansas area. Currently residing in Fayetteville, Arkansas, her main focus is watercolor and oil painting. Her subject is often the feminine body, what she would consider extensions of the body, and her daily beauty rituals. Imperfections and insecurities are romanticized in her work in an attempt to free herself, and anyone who relates, of their own negative self-image.
